Our Company

Headquartered in Lexington, MA, CAMX Power LLC is a technology development company operating as two divisions focused on electrochemical and electromechanical applications.

Its cathode plant is located in Rowley, MA.

With extensive development facilities and laboratories, CAMX is the recipient of numerous DOE and DOD grants and awards.  Its GEMX® cathode technology was a finalist in the transformative technologies category of the Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF) 2018 in Japan, sponsored by Prime Minister Abe and organized by NEDO of Japan.

 
 

Dr. Kenan Sahin is the founder/president of CAMX Power. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. from MIT and served as a faculty member before starting and directing Kenan Systems which became a key international telecommunications company with more than 1000 staff, eventually sold to Lucent/Bell Labs where he served as a vice president of Bell Labs and as president of one of Lucent’s five businesses.

 

CAMX and Dr. Sahin were featured in MIT Technology Review.
