I have been General Counsel of TIAX since July 2002, and of CAMX Power since May 2014. In that capacity, I am involved in legal matters which arise concerning each company’s operations, including the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, confidentiality agreements, licensing arrangements, real estate and employment matters, as well as dealing with intellectual property conversion to patents and surrounding matters. The treasury function is also my responsibility. My undergraduate AB degree is from Harvard University and my law degree is from Harvard Law School.  Prior to joining TIAX, I was Associate General Counsel of Arthur D. Little, Inc. I began my legal career as an associate attorney with the Boston law firm of Gaston & Snow, and subsequently practiced with the Boston-based law firms of Gadsby & Hannah, Nutter, McClennen & Fish and Choate, Hall & Stewart, focusing in the areas of corporate and securities laws, including venture capital financings, mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses, contract negotiations, and general business and corporate planning for all types of business entities. I am admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and before the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court (Massachusetts) and the U.S. Court of Appeals (First Circuit).
